FOCHETTE FABRIC

A fabric that obtained its name through being first made on Armistice Day. A double tubular plain fabric is knitted and its rigidity is increased by introducing a straight filling thread between the fabrics in addition to the tying thread. If the binding thread is drawn away two separate fabrics are left.
